HutchLee Technologies Partners with Manatee Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller to Launch Dedicated VAB Platform
Equity Bridge Pro brings online filing, automated workflows, and real-time case tracking to Manatee County’s property assessment appeals process
BRADENTON, Fla. (release date) — HutchLee Technologies, a government technology company founded by public sector professionals with more than 25 years of Clerk of Court experience, today announced a partnership with the Manatee Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller to implement Equity Bridge Pro — a digital platform built exclusively for Value Adjustment Board (VAB) operations. The platform is scheduled to launch in early summer 2026.
The VAB process allows property owners to formally appeal their property assessments. Today, petitioners in Manatee County submit appeals by mail, email, or in person, and staff manually follow up to collect the $50 filing fee, enter petition data by hand, confirm each petitioner’s preferred contact method, and assign hearing dates one by one. Equity Bridge Pro is a comprehensive digital platform designed to revolutionize the property assessment appeal process.
For property owners, the platform provides a guided online filing wizard, integrated payment at time of submission, and real-time petition status — so petitioners always know where their case stands without calling the office.
For the Clerk’s office, Equity Bridge Pro eliminates manual data entry, reduces paper and scanning, and cuts down on the back-and-forth that currently slows case processing. Fewer steps between filing and hearing means fewer opportunities for error.
For magistrates and the Property Appraiser, all case information is available in one place, updated in real time, replacing the fragmented communication and manual coordination that VAB participants rely on today.
“While we’ve worked diligently to serve property owners using our existing systems and established procedures, the unique complexities of the Value Adjustment Board process deserve a dedicated, specialized platform. Equity Bridge Pro represents our commitment to modernizing public services and ensuring every property owner has equitable access to the appeals process.”
— Angelina “Angel” Colonneso, Manatee Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller
“This isn’t just a software implementation — it’s a true partnership. We understand the daily challenges, regulatory requirements, and citizen expectations that come with running a VAB. Equity Bridge Pro is built by people who know this world intimately, and we’re honored to work alongside the Manatee Clerk & Comptroller to deliver a solution tailored to their operations.”
